All things nautical is the theme of our Bar/Lounge. This reflects the strong tie between the Matheson family, the hotel owners, and the sea.

You may well encounter some old seafarers yourself when you visit the bar and discover from them the meaning of the various charts, stained glass and memorabilia which adorn the windows, nooks, crannies and walls of the Bar and Lounge.
